  6. I am new and cannot access my Volunteer Center portal account. You must first register as a user. Click here to go to the portal main page, then near the login section is an option to select "Haven't signed up yet? Click here." Click on it and create your individual user account. Once you have finished this step, let us know (email us at info@nfpresources.org) and we will link you to your agency account. When we have finished this step you will be all set to begin sharing volunteer and in-kind needs. From that point on you when you log in to your account click the tab at the top that says "My Agency" to go right to your listings.
  7. How are our needs promoted? Every volunteer and donation need posted  is shared on our social media outlets and sent out in our e-news.
  8. How are emergency needs managed? If your organization has an emergency need, contact us at 815-344-4483 or info@nfpresources.org. We will send out an urgent communication to our partners and contacts to help find you the resources to fulfill your need. If possible, please list your need on the Volunteer Portal before contacting us. This ensures that responses to the communication go directly to your agency.
  9. How do I get help with Volunteer Center portal web-tool issues? If you need assistance contact us at 815-344-4483 or info@nfpresources.org.
  10. How do I find out about new workshops or resources? Sign up for our e-news - click to join. We also post all items on our website.
  11. Why can't I add phone numbers and emails in my needs and agency descriptions? We have to capture our outcomes for future funding. When an individual contacts you directly we are not able to track it. To help you save time we suggest having an email ready on your end directing the individual to your application.
  12. What if we decide to stop our membership before the year is up? We are not able to transfer memberships nor refund membership fees.
